「飼い犬は飼い主に似る」のだから「飼い主は飼い犬に似る」ようになってしまうのでは！？ ……とある日のチャットにてそんな変身譚を交わす中、頂いたリクエストです。

この二匹、獣人のボーダーコリーと原形のボーダーコリーは、実は同一人物。これは分裂しているからではなく、二つの態を同じ画面に納めることで人間、獣人そして動物のあいだで躍動する「ボーダー (境界) の無いボーダーコリー」を表現する為、このような構図を取りました。

Do you believe that "dogs resemble their owners"? If so, you can also believe "people start resembling their dogs", can't you? This artwork is drawn by me at the request of my friend when he and I were talking about the back story of this on an internet chat.

They, an anthropomorphic border collie and a normal one, are the same person in fact. So, these two didn't make to divide themselves. Why I composed such his double shapes in same canvas is to express the theme "Border Collie without Border" which is moving energetically between human and beast.
